NFL: ***2022 NFL Draft Thread***

He has a high ceiling. Just needs a year or two to be coached up. And he has way more potential than Davis Mills.
I don't disagree, but I don't think there's any way he goes number 1, let alone will anyone move up to number 1 to take him. I think there's a better chance he'll be available outside of the top 10 than that he'll get selected number 1.

Houston has lots of draft picks from the Watson trade. And they need a QB. Otherwise I wouldn't have a QB going in the top 5. Personally I would stay put at #3 and take an edge rusher.

I transferred my mock draft into a blog. Might look a lot better since wix won't let me edit the mobile version of the site.

Draft Day if finally here. Sounds like it is suppose to be windy as hell in Vegas tonight:

If the wind doesn't screw it up the various visual presentations should be pretty sweet tonight.

NFL draft is the most overblow event in sports. It’s boring as **** to watch. And the talking head do nothing but mock drafts for month in advance. Im just glad it will be over soon.

And it will probably out-rate NBA Playoff games tonight.

Yeah the streak is pretty ridiculous and quite frankly embarrassing. Hope I'm wrong but it's probably going to 50 years.

It's ironic we have a player that is consensus #1 at his position but just happens to be the one period where teams don't draft that star player position as highly as they used to.

It's not like we've had any top rated players at their position the way Iowa has had a handful of offensive lineman ranked there over the years. We have one now and it's like a quirk he won't go first round.

I wonder if any of our other 2nd and 3rd round guys were considered top at their position?
2nd rounders
KO
Kieth Sims
Mike Stenstrud
Matt Blair

3rd rounders
David Montgomery
Ellis Hobbs ??? Maybe this one? Was he considered best corner?
Reggie Hayward
Troy Davis
Tim Cohn

Highest total pick was Stenstrud at 31 after Amundson.

Blair certainly looks like the one that proved he was easily first round talent.

Just looking at the sortable data on a wiki page

Quite a few think 1st round to Bills. Would think pick #25-40 or so is the range for Breece.
1st round is becoming a real possibility

Yeah not a big NFL fan but reading that if they feel it's the one missing piece might as well take a chance at the best player you think you can get.

I think a lot of the "hope he goes here to win and succeed" can be overblown, but it would be cool for him to be on a team that's easy to watch without a league pass. I am a big NBA fan and I knew Tyrese would be fine showing his skills at the Kings and now Pacers (he's a borderline all star already) and THT might struggle in the superteam environment in LA even though they were winning when they drafted him. The only thing is it's hard to watch Tyrese on those teams without a league pass and it was easy to watch THT play this year even with the Lakers struggling.

Maybe in football it's different though. I mean the Bears offense seems so bad that it's hard not wonder what DM might be doing if he had a better line and better passing game to open things up.

Breece with a good offensive line and team that wants to use him in passing game could be awesome.

It will destroy the NBA Playoffs tonight in the ratings.

Well there are 90-100 NBA playoff games every year and one night of the draft people care about.

I love the NBA and barely watch NFL but I'll probably watch to see where Breece goes. I can't watch all 95 games.
