Gators win it 12-0 (5) to advance.

The ACC is shut out of OKC, despite having the #2 and #3 national seeds.

Interesting how college softball has a run rule while college and pro baseball don't.

College baseball:

Ten-Run Rule
SECTION 79. By conference rule, or mutual consent of both coaches before the contest, a game may be stopped only after seven innings if one team is ahead by at least 10 runs. Each team must play an equal number of innings unless shortened because the home team needs none or only part of its half of the final inning.

Interesting. It's still not as cut and dry as softball seems to be. And I've seen softball games run-ruled with less than a 10 run lead. Different strokes for different folks.

*High school softball: 12 after 3, 10 after 5
*High school baseball: 15 after 4, 10 after 5
College softball: 8 after 5
College baseball: 10 after 7 (optional)

*in Iowa, anyway

They have umpires at every base in the Regionals through the College World Series but they still can’t see slappers stepping out of the batters box and pitchers crow hopping.
