Boy are some of you really overreacting to today. Outside of the KU performance nothing was that bad or surprising. SEC is widely considered the second best conference and the best at the top. So drop some of their worst teams and it's a pretty even match up, which is what you saw today. But go ahead and throw out a whole seasons worth of data so far and declare the Big XII overrated because one team had a really bad day.

Honestly, this Big 12/SEC Challenge was a snoozefest.

Iowa State by 17
Auburn by 18
Alabama by 9 but was really more around 15 most of the second half
Kentucky by 18
Texas Tech by 26
TCU by 9
Arkansas by 9
Ole Miss by 11
Texas by 1

Average win was by 12

I missed on Baylor and KU. Baylor was missing a few pieces, but Bama was really clicking. KU didn't have an answer for Tshiebwe down low and got boat raced when McCormack was a non-factor. I can see KU going to the post a ton when they come to Hilton because Self is gonna lay into them about not being tough enough.

Bama is gonna be a tough team to pick in the bracket come tourney time. They could get beat early or knock off a number one.

I guess if a non-Texas-based Big XII team had to win in this challenge, it may as well have been us!

SEC went 6-8 in bowl games, trust me, they're the best football conference out there. The Big 12 is the best basketball conference out there.
