NET rankings update after Iowa loss.

Iowa dropped from 27 to 60.
Eastern Illinois climbed from 350 to 333.

E-Ill currently has a better record in Quad 1 (1-2) than Iowa (0-1).

Also, if you're curious, ISU dropped from 31 to 32. Apparently the combo of big loss to Iowa and canceling the Omaha game seriously eroded our tournament profile. :)

I’ve been mulling around an idea of how we can get Drake on the schedule and I think I have a cool concept. What if Drake and Des Moines put on a 4 team invitational. Iowa and ISU switching off playing Drake every other year.
2 days 4 teams. Winners and losers play each other.
Drake vs ISU
mid major vs Big Ten

Drake vs Iowa
mid major vs big 12 or other.
Think about all the possible teams within a 6hr drive in Des Moines. Just need a big corporate sponsor.

I like it!

Another cool thing would be ISU and Iowa double header vs. a couple of other rivals such as Louisville and Kentucky. ISU vs. Louisville and Iowa vs. Kentucky or ISU vs. Kentucky and Iowa vs. Louisville. 'Twould be a fun double header at Wells Fargo Arena!
