***2022-23 CFB Bowl Games Thread***

Judging a conference by bowl record is laughable.
Totally agree but the Big12 already has a massive perception problem that is being made worse by adding the G5 teams so this combined with the recruiting doesn’t help. TCU pulled off a pretty good class though so that should help a bit

We say that but if it were the Big 10 or SEC with the terrible bowl record I doubt anyone here would be making the arguments they are for the Big 12.
Fact is we were a 1 win team in a really average at best conference.

Kind of embarrassing.

The B10 is terrible. A bad bowl record would just be more evidence of that. Instead they get extremely lucky draws against teams that don’t want to be there.

If Howard completes the easy pass to cap off that 19 play drive at the end of the 1st half, KSU would probably still be in this game.

False, if there was a “massive perception problem” our runner up would not have made the playoff.

Well the top 2 or 3 teams in the SEC are very very good, but the rest of the conference tries to take credit for things.. Just like Big 10 is top heavy.

Big 12 has no great teams, just a lot of good ones.

But the old saying is a high tied floats all boats. Bama/Georgia, Michigan/OSU, certainly help the conference perceptions.

They made the playoff becuase they had one loss where everyone else has two. To use your own argument if the big ten is trash why do they have two playoff teams?

B12 had the best bowl record by far over the previous 2 years. They were due for a down year. OuT losing their bowl games isn't the worst thing in the world.

I've switched over to the Iowa-Kentucky game since KSU is done for.... and holy s**t is this Kentucky QB awful. Wow.

Of course we would because that’s what you do as fans. Nobody of any matter truly cares.

That means the last two years the Big 12 was by far the best conference then, right? At least according to some on here. We'll take it.

Because much like the SEC who has a couple of elite teams, so does the Big Ten. Doesn’t mean the conference as a whole is any good.

Extremely lucky draws? If anything with 2 playoff teams each team at least got bumped up 1 bowl game than where they should have been.

Your takes are atrocious as usual.

Yep agree and said that the whole season. 2/3 great teams and a bunch of average teams after that. No conference as a whole is good.
