I went to the 1976 Liberty Bowl which was 23 F at Kickoff.
Coach Bryant wore a red ski mask instead of his houndstooth hat.
I froze my young nuts off.

Anymore, these Texas bowls, unless you are in Jerryworld or San Antonio (the dome), are no treat. It gets pretty chilly to down right cold in Texas in the winter. It’s not the southern weather most think it is. It’s not Florida, Arizona or Southern Cal.
Baylor looks like they want to be there about as much as ISU in Boise twenty years ago.
Air Force should have punted at Midfield on 4th and 1 and would be ahead 9-0.
The risk reqard at that point was not in their favor.

11 degrees in Ft Worth. So it’s like the Tech game. Wasn’t that awful. I’d trade it for now.
Aranda finishes the season with a losing record. That bald head isn’t shining quite as bright as it was last year.
He clearly needs to be fired after being picked to win the league and not even coming close. I’m doing this right, correct?
Man I’m still salty about losing to this Baylor team. Some BS early penalties that cost us that game against a team we should have beaten.
I will not say ISU should have won the game, since they didn't. However, that loss put a damper on the season. I think an ISU win vs. the Bears, and ISU wins @ KU the following week and has a relatively angst free season and is Bowling somewhere nice this frigid holiday season. That game was just a flat out downer and got in the players heads the next week and the week after and the week after...!
I've watched them a couple times this year and have not been impressed they must've beat up on 7 bad teams
