2021 men's CBB coaching carousel

Same as the rest of us, failed drug test. But based on both sides denying it, I'd guess no offer was extended and I doubt they'd extend one now.
I thought most employers differentiated between the two types. Mine did anyway.

LOL What? Why on earth would he make that move.

Indiana is going to end up paying out 10 mil and getting someone they didn't want.

As an IU fan, I am starting to get a bit anxious about this. If some of these reports are true, it is getting a bit embarrassing. I will say, however, that Goodman is super anti-IU.

Be prepared for someone like Anthony Grant or Porter Moser.

He coached at Butler prior to Ohio St, which I guess means a guy would always want to be in Indiana? Had a Hoosier native & alum tell me last week that they really missed it (by a year?) last time around and didn't get Holtmann. Seems unlikely he'd leave Ohio St to go to Indiana...

It you want a good laugh, gopher fans are acting like Eric Musselman is a reasonable get. I know he grew up a bit in Minneapolis and coached on the timberwolves staff. However, Arkansas at this point is a better job. No reason to leave a team with 3 highly talented freshman for a rebuild in Minnesota.
Right On! Why in the world would Musselman leave Arkansas for Minnesota, as Arkansas has been, is and will always be a better job than Minnesota from their 19,200 seat Walton Arena, 1994 National Championship, 1995 National Runner-Up, 6 Final Fours, 10 Elite 8s, 12 Sweet 16s, etc. compared to Minnesota's 14 NCAA Tournament appearances all-time. Arkansas has a serious basketball history, a passionate fan base, money and one of the best arenas in the country. He has a plum of a job already.

We've never recruited well in Minnesota for MBB, not looking for a sudden change in that. I can think of a number of good to great WBB players at ISU from Minnesota but none on the men's side other than maybe Jake Sullivan and that's pushing up against 20 years ago now.
Does Royce white count?

So many delusional IU fans in the midwest thought they were getting Stevens, Beard, or Drew. Nebraska of basketball. Hope all their players stay in the portal. Gotta think Race Thompson is us or MN with a heavy lean to MN. Even so, that might take them out of some other guys both schools are looking at.
