2020 wasn't all bad.

My son got married. The wedding was great even with the changes caused by Covid. And no one got sick.
2020 was a mixed bag for me. Some really crappy stuff happened (not just COVID) but also some good things.
Bad:
- My 1 yr old son had a seizure brought on by a fever in May. He stopped breathing and we had to call 911. He’s totally fine now though.
-had to put our first dog down 3 weeks after that. He was my best buddy. That tore me up and still upsets me to think about it.
Good:
- Changed jobs in Sept. got out of a very boring and unrewarding job.
- wife and I finally said f*** it and made the move back to central Iowa. Bought our dream house and moved in Oct.
Bad:

My wife gave birth to our first child, a son, in July. We have a healthy and happy (besides teething) 5 month old. Covid has hit us in many ways but her giving birth during covid was actually pretty good. The hospital was quiet, didn’t have to worry about visitors so we could focus on us 3 for the first few days .
