2020: The Fan Experience

I've attended games in 4 stadiums this year. All had spaced out seating. The last two (Kansas, Northern Illinois) had people on patrol in each section with "Mask Up" signs that they hold up for anyone not wearing their masks. Haven't seen that at Jack Trice except on the concourses. Quick trips to the bathroom is definitely a plus. Fans at TCU and Jack Trice made plenty of real noise. It is weird hearing the piped in fan noise. It was horrible at Northern Illinois. Bad loops that had a few seconds of silence every 10 minutes or so. The bottom line is that I didn't think I was exposed to the virus at any of the games. Even the ticket lines were a breeze.

The beer lines at KU were the best part, besides the score.

Went to OSU. Lines were short/non-existent for everything. People were spaced out and generally wore their mask.

Why doesn't ISU sell beer to the general public again????

I've been to two games this year: Texas Tech @ ISU and ISU @ Kansas and had no problems at either game. Parking was easy, the seating spacing was good, enjoyed some good sunshine on both days and the bathrooms were easy. Not like a full house, but good atmosphere none-the-less. No issues at all. I think Iowa State found the best solution with limited fans. Full House would have been a disaster, and no fans is no fun. @JM4CY Go and have a blast! Beat the Bears!

Check that you can access all your tickets. Use Apple Wallet or something that doesn’t require cell service.
Turn your screen brightness all the way up while standing in line.
