NFL: ***2020 NFL Draft Thread***

Muti is a 2nd round talent but the injury concerns have dropped him big time. Would still be a great pick though.

Vikings trade round 5 pick??
Might still be able to go Muti or Adams with the next pick. I’m fairly surprised we’ve only gone O line once so far. I guess there’s always FA.

Let's try it again at #169. Anae, OG Netane Muti, or WR James Proche to the Vikes.

Harrison Hand is another great pick. I have read reports that he may be a safety in the NFL. We need depth behind Smith and Harris so this pick makes sense.

Now we need a couple more o-linemen, another WR and d-tackle.

I wonder if we take a QB at some point. Maybe a project guy like Cole McDonald who could be a 3rd stringer this year and then eventually be a decent #2.

KJ Osborn is the first Vikings pick that I don't like. I didn't think he was good enough to be drafted in this WR class.
He isn't. If they wanted him he'd have been available as an UDFA. I'm not crazy about how today has gone.

So far still no ISU players taken. The other LS was taken, I mean he does have that magical LSU title. Lots of G taken and JGJ should be close as well as Wirtel.

Chiefs had a good draft although didnt love that last pick.

JGJ will never play in the NFL.

I guess I look at no Iowa State players drafted so far and think either our best players are still on the team, or somehow we are winning more games than we should. Either way makes me feel better about next year.

I like the Metellus pick. He'll be a really good backup safety and special teams contributor. I have never heard of the Oregon State lineman though.
Adams is still available, a tackle with 2nd round value. Obviously something going on with him though I guess.
