Okay, what am I missing on Dexter Lawrence? He's a beast and 340 lbs. Figured he'd be a in top 10 discussion, but most of what I've seen has him mid to late first round. The only knock I can think of is the failed drug test

Looks like some storms could be moving into Nashville area about the time the draft kicks off.

Hope this backfires big time on the NFL, they deserve it. They say they can move it indoors if needed, but that's a few blocks away I guess.

The drug thing can make a huge impact. Remember Laremy Tunsil of the 2016 NFL Draft? The video dropped him 10 spots.

His 40 time was 5:05, putting him at the back end of the pack behind 30 other defensive lineman. His bench was pretty good, though.

I didn't watch much Iowa last year, so maybe Gonzo or Dexter can answer this. Was Hockenson THIS good in college? One of the storylines I remember from local sports talk during the Fall was the criticism that Fant wasn't playing enough

My thoughts exactly. I always thought Fant was better.

Hock was a stud. GREAT hands, sharp route running, decent speed and outstanding blocker. I think he benefitted big time from having Fant though. Opposing DC's gameplanned around stopping Fant. He drew all the attention, he was 1st team pre-season All American TE. That definitely opened up a lot of opportunity for Hock. But he took advantage of it and racked up numbers.

That lead story on the Hill audio tape will be another hit for the Chiefs. Feel sorry for his child and the mother based on the alleged comments shared tonight.

They're different TEs but I've always agreed that Fant is the guy I'd rather have if I had to choose. More athletic, way more big-play upside. Again, Hock reaped the benefits of opposing defenses gameplanning around Fant. And even with all the attention on him Fant still had more catches and more yards this year than he had in 2017 which was his breakout year.
