Sorry if there's already a thread for the draft this week, I didn't see one.

I'm a Packers fan, so I'll start there.

With their 2 first round picks I'd like to see them go with an Edge Rusher and an OT. If they take a QB in the 1st round, which some are saying they should, then I give up.

If they are going to have a shot at a another Super Bowl while Rodgers is still somewhat at the top of his game, they need to do it in the next couple of years. Sure, they will eventually need someone to take over for Rodgers, but you don't waste a 1st round pick on another QB when you need to win NOW.

What they probably should do at QB is offer the Cardinals a 3rd or 4th round pick for Rosen. He could eventually take over for Rodgers IMO.

Every time I look at a mock draft I immediately start getting nervous for Butler and Montgomery! That said...I am a Steelers fan and they have plenty of needs so they could go a few different ways on defense...but at #20 the difference-makers will be gone! Ugh!

New York Football Giants fan. They have the #6 and #17 picks in the first. I'm hoping for a QB, either Haskins or Jones. For the other I'm hoping for an OT. The o-line has been putrid, they've made moves there but still need big help. But I'm guessing they'll go with an edge rusher at #6 and either a QB or OL at #17.

Colts - At # 26 either Greedy Williams or Jeffrey Simmons. I also wouldn't mind trading down but not all the way out of the first round. At # 34, Hakeem Butler or the best receiver left on their board. At # 59, probably a safety or offensive tackle.

Chiefs fan here. Have to go defense in the first round, hopefully a solid DB. Byron Murphy, Greedy Williams, Deandre Baker, Nasir Adderley.

I'm ready to watch teams move up to draft QBs so skilled defensive players fall just a bit further to the Chiefs at 29.

I have a feeling the Chiefs GM is going to go with the best available strategy to avoid over-reaching for a position of need. He said he'll be drafting for every position except QB (and I assume he's excluding K and P because they're set there).

49ers fan, I'm hoping the Cardinals take Murray and leave Bosa for us at 2. Then with the 2nd round pick, I'd be ecstatic to get Butler there.

Not exactly sure.
Packers need Oline. Their Dline and linebackers are dependent on health. When you pick up people and they don't play more than a couple games, even if that, before injury you are more concerned with health. They need a speed guy for offense, maybe found later on. If a huge name qb drops that you think fits well, with a solid Olineman left for the second first rounder then you do the Rodgers then and grab. People thought it was dumb when Rodgers was taken with a few years left in Favre.

The 49ers almost cannot mess up here. If Murray goes one take Bosa and celebrate. If Bosa goes one take Quinnen Williams and celebrate. If the Raiders get desperate trade back to four, gather assets, take best available like Josh Allen or Montez Sweat and celebrate.

Vikings fan here: It's gotta be OL in the first round, but I'm hoping we also draft for quality depth. I'm kind of underwhelmed by the players available, so I'm hoping there are still some skill players or pass rushers that teams later on in the draft would be willing to make a deal for Minnesota's #18.

I could see Indianapolis wanting to make a move up (from #26) and they have the draft capital to make a move (two picks in both Rounds 2 & 4). Say what you will about Rick Spielman, but he has been impressive on draft day.

I don't think Ballard has much interest in moving the Colts up. Of course it's possible there's a player on the board that Indy absolutely loves, but all indications are that they'll stay put and take the BPA or try to move down. Really it doesn't look like may teams will be looking to move up. I'm kind of getting the impression that the feeling around the league is that there isn't much difference between the 20th best prospect and the 50th best prospect. Deep draft, but not much separation between the best prospects and the next tier.

With all that said, your best bet if you're hoping the Vikes trade down from 18 is the Raiders at 24 or 27.

I'd go TE at 12 and OL at 30. I'm thinking Hockenson at 12 and either Dalton Risner or Chris Lindstrom at 30 and a safety at 44

Im hoping for a offensive tackle and a Wide Receiver. We just spend a ton of money in Free agency on the defensive line. I am not sure who can be the 2nd receiver after losing Cobb. Maybe even Hakim Butler in the 2nd round.

I also see Butler going later second and Montgomery going in the 3rd or 4th. That is just my opinion on those two. I have not really checked out lately what the experts are saying.

Butler is all over the place. I've seen him going around # 20 in the first round and I've seen another where he doesn't go until the end of the second round. I think Montgomery is a solid second day pick. If I had to guess I'd say mid-late third round.

Cardinals Fan. Hoping for Bosa, but all signs pointing to Murray. Still trying to figure out how we got stuck with Kliff.

Does trading for a DE count? Can I say I was right?

I still think their best move is to trade down out of the top pick. They just have so many holes to fill on the roster that by taking a QB now they can't protect him or help him out with decent receivers or a good defense. It's setting a guy up to fail. Problem is I don't think they have any willing trade partners.
