How many has Lewis played for ISU, yet some on here predict at some point he'll be starting over NWB based on a few mins of CCL video. People need to just get a grip over the CCL. We say it every single year, but people don't listen.

Remember.... Sherron Dorsey-Walker once scored 63 pts, or whatever insane amount it was, in the CCL once and everyone freaked out and anointed him as the next "best player ever in ISU history". How'd that turn out again?
What about Bubu?

Y Cap City Semi-Finals/Fan Appreciation Night - Thursday 7/20 - Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny

5:30 #1 Doerrfeld (Young, Lewis) vs. #5 Hinterland (Jackson)
6:45 Dunk Contest, 3 point shoot out
8:00 #2 Lions Club (Beverly? Wigginton?) vs. Sparta (Shayok, Lard)

Going to be a fun night in Ankeny. Sounds like Beverly is a yes at this point (disclaimer: don't take that as a 100% lock until you see him in the gym) and Wigginton is an unknown. Good chance to judge for yourself how good Lard really is.

Games on Sunday were both very competitive with one going double OT and the other a one possession game at the buzzer. Should be more of the same on Thursday. Dunk contest, etc is always a good time.

First in with my vote for Lard to win the dunk contest. No way he can lose with his amazing height and body control on his jumps.

Updates for Thursday night games? Which Iowa State players are likely to be there?

P.S. If they have a dunk contest, Lard will win easily.

As always, things are subject to change at any time up to and including game time but this is who is committed at this moment:

Game #1 - Young, Lewis, Jackson
Game #2 - Shayok, Lard, Wigginton (yeah, you read that right)

Not sure who is dunking. Three point contest is:
Lewis - ISU
Ore Arogundada - Drake
Reed Timmer - Drake
Jordan Johnson - Kentucky Weslyan
Luke Terhark - Wayne State
Maybe a couple others like hopefully Jackson

Great to hear about Wigginton. Can't make it but should be good for people to get to watch him in person

I hope Wigginton's team wins so I have a chance to see him on Sunday, otherwise I won't be going.

For having a nice looking jumper, Jacobsen has not shot the 3 well. (7-38 career at NU)

That's what I was told. And the Cap City twitter account just tweeted that Monte will be there to pass the torch to Lindell for the 8pm game. Someone's feeling pretty confident he is ACTUALLY going to play. (But I'm with you. Until I see him in the gym I'll be skeptical)

Solomon is shooting 83% from 3, so I think we found our Matty Ice replacement. ;)
