2016 Rio Summer Olympics

I understand he is "swimmer old" but why would he not give it a shot in 2020? I mean he's still winning gold....

I think it has to do with the time commitment to train for the Olympics. While he may still do it, he may want to stop and raise his child.

yeah I just feel like trying to intimidate Phelps is maybe not the best use of time.
In the background blurb on Le Clos before the race, Le Clos said "well, he can shut up now" after winning his second (I think?) World Championship in 2013. He was referring to Phelps. Shortly thereafter, Phelps decided to "un-retire".
'Spose Le Clos regrets that now? :)

Our National Anthem is easily the best in the world.
I don't know about that. Clearly subjective though. I'm a musician and have played the Start Spangled Banner at least 500 times and I like it, but I can't honestly say I've heard more than 20 or so other anthems. Canada's is very nice and much easier to sing, Germany's was written by Haydn. La Marseillaise is very nice too. Although it sounds strange to our Western ears, with unusual harmonies and chord progressions I really like Japan's too.

You communist bastard.

That second guy on the 200 free relay was damn fast.

Phelps made me nervous with the cap mishap.
