Personally I expect Boston to start at 125. No inside knowledge, just think he's better. Maybe Molina can get back down to 165, otherwise it'll probably be Woiwor. Also, it's Harrington at 197.

125: Larson
133: Boston
141: Meeks
149: Gabe
157: RRS
165: Woivor/Molina?
174: Weatherman
184: Spoon
197: Harrington
HWT: Smith

This is the scholarship chart I have for next year. It is still early to know if Hall or Dante will Olympic Redshirt.

My Guess:

125: Boston/Larson
133: Hall
141: Dante/Meeks
149: Gabe/RRS
157: Briceno/Brietenbach
165: Molina/DiBlasi
174: Weatherman
184: 'Spoon
197: Harrington
HWT: Smith

I have heard talk about Tanner going to 165. I was going to ask him at Nationals and totally forgot if that was a possibility, I think that Lelund would then go to 174 and a transfer would be at 184.

I also don't think Earl would necessarily take a Olympic redshirt, I think he might still have his regular redshirt. Not sure how his eligibility issues worked out. (Did he lose 1 year or 1 year and his redshirt year?)

I've heard Tanner is strongly considering 165 but Lelund is committed to building up to 184. A lot could change obviously, but that's just what I've heard

Any 184 transfer possibilities that you know of? Pixley is the only name I've seen come up on this board.

I would think Molina. Danny Woiwor wouldn't be big enough. Not sure he is still wrestling.

Here is a pretty accurate lineup based on Room today....

125: Larson / Boston (toss up) Larson beat Boston at Cyclone Open and there is a strong dislike there.

133: Hall (rumors he may take an Olympic) If so Larson
141: Dante
149: Gabe
157: Bricenio
165: Molina/Breitenbach (Molina has the edge)
174: Weatherman
184: Spoon
197: Harrington
HWT: Smith

Earl lost his 1 year so he would have to take an Olympic. I am hearing Tanner can not make 165 but if he could LeLund would be fun to watch at 174. AA - I would guess.

Here's my wishlist for next years lineup and national predictions/expectations:
125 - Boston (or Larson if he can beat him out) - Improve by qualifying and winning a match or 2
133 - Hall (I do think he can redshirt if he wants but why?) - Improve by earning AA
141 - Meeks (Dante redshirts) - Improve by R12 performance (not sure why but I feel he will turn the corner next yr) IF Dante is the man then he will also improve. Great situation.
149 - Gabe - Improve by staying healthy and AA
157 - Woiwer - Improve with a qualifier (10-3 last year as a redshirt)
165 - Tanner - Improve by becoming AA as a Senior (Will he sacrifice and cut for the team?)
174 - LSpoon - Improve by becoming AA at his natural wgt
184 - Carson Powell - No expectations - IF Carson can stay healthy he can be good even wrestling up a wgt.
197 - Harrington - Less points says Captain obvious
Hwt - Gadson - Improve - gets Medical Redshirt, eats Ice Cream and has a fun year earning AA. (It's my dream world - ya'll are just living in it ;-)

Even without Gadson I'd expect at least 8 qualifiers and a solid top 10 finish with at least 4 AA's....(Oh ohh; here comes all the critics telling me my expectations are too low and we should be in the Top 3... FYI - It's just my thoughts and I'm not really wanting a negative debate)

Did Carson ever get healthy? and is he that big? I thought 165

I don't think Carson is healthy. I've heard concussion problems and I don't know how big he is. I've just heard that he's tough (when healthy). I'd rather be big and contending for AA at 65/74 than small like I thought we were at those two weights this year. I just don't see LSpoon bulking up to a solid 184...Maybe he will prove me wrong tho.

Certain guys like Derienger (sp?), Brown & Kokesh look big IMO. Mike Moreno, Tanner & L Spoon all looked a tad on the small size IMO.

I heard the concussion issues as well. Thought he had potential, but afraid he may never see the mat do to the concussions

My best guess:

125-Larson
133-Earl (I dont think he will RS)
141- Meeks (dante RS)
149- Gabe
157- Breitenbach/ Briceno
165- Molina/Goose
174- Goose/Spoon/Molina
184- Spoon/ ???
197-Harrington
285- Quean

I agree with you HGoat. Not sure of status with Pixley. I suppose waiting for grades before anything is known on him. KJ was at Juco Nationals. Don't know who he was looking at. (the NIACC champs at 149 & 157???)

Hear Pestano might be an option at 184. If he decides to try and make the cut. He is pretty short and stocky.
