Any info on the type of season our 2011 high school players are having?
I have not seen any update on the three players from Texas or one from KC.

Moody said on facebook that playofffs are getting ready to start and williamson got a 1,000 pt ball. That's all I knw

I don't think team-wise Williamson's season has been as good as they had hoped with their star PG going down with an injury in the second game of the season. She still seems to have the decent stats though.

Fallon Ellis, Westbury Christian:

Her scoring is down (to around 10 ppg), but that's to be expected. Her team this year added one of the top 2014 recruits in the nation: Brianna Turner. The PG is Amber Orrange, a 2011 Stanford signee. With all that talent, the team is one of the top 25 in the nation according to USA Today. She led the team in scoring, rebounding, and blocks last season but Turner leads all those categories this year.

Ellis went from 1-10 shooting behind the arc last season to 28-79 (35%) this season, a very encouraging development. She is shooting nearly 70% inside the arc.

The team plays their first TAPPS 4A State tournament game on the 19th.

Nikki Moody, Euless Trinity

Moody averaged 17.6 ppg, 5.1 assists, and 4.3 rebounds. Her Euless Trinity Team lost this week in regional competition to Kileah Mays' Duncanville team.

After the first half, a deflated Trinity team attempted to ride Moody's offensive abilities, abandoning set plays in favor of isolations. Moody was able to score off the dribble-drive, but not enough to put the Lady Trojans back in the game.

Kileah Mays, Duncanville

I don't know what to expect from her. She doesn't score a lot (5.1 ppg) but her team has very balanced scoring and another future Big 12 post player in Bunny Williams (Kansas). Williams leads the team in scoring at only 10.1 PPG, with another player at 10 ppg and 4 more players between 5.1 and 6.1 ppg. She might be a bit of a project player. With four proven good post players on the roster, we can afford that.

As posted above, Duncanville defeated Euless Trinity. They continue on in the Texas 5A playoffs (Region 1).

Brynn Williamson, Staley

Their district tournament starts next week. Their PG was Marissa Ellis, a 2012 KSU verbal and Hoopgurlz top 100 recruit, but she tore her ACL in the second game of the season. They do have Bree Fowler, a Missouri signee.

I get the idea she's having a pretty good season, but I'm having trouble finding stats or any other details. I do see that the team plays full-court press despite only going about 7-deep in the rotation, so she's used to playing high-intensity defense.

In a blog that follows TX basketball, she has been referred to "tough as nails," "perfect fit for Iowa St." three point offense, the "best long-range shooter in Texas"

She is 5 7, but appears very muscular and tough.

I think BF nabbed a good one here that wasn't on the radar because her HS team is buried in a very very very tough conference. And I hope her buddy Lang follows suit.

Nicole "Kidd" Blaskowsky, Fort Bend Austin (2012 verbal)

Austin made their first playoff appearance in program history this season but lost in the first round last Friday. Blaskowsky averaged around 20 ppg. I haven't found any more stats for her.

Here is some more info I have found on Kileah Mays

She is ranked 36 in the top 150 in the 2011 class in Texas

These were last years #'s.

Even though she is a 2012 recruit, she has put up amazing numbers

" Much of the teams success has to do with another Chronicle Preseason All Greater Houston player, Nicole Blaskowsky. Although only a junior, this tough as nails young lady has already committed to Iowa State"

"
Blaskowsky, who verbally committed to Iowa state, is in her third season as a starter, and she's continued to elevate her game each year.

"She's a great scorer with great basketball knowledge," Kubicsek said. "She loves playing basketball. She can do a lot and she's very talented.

"Last year she still had to learn some things about basketball and this year she's a better leader, can do a lot more than last year, and she's hungry to make the playoffs and understands what it's going to take."

Blaskowsky scored a season-high 36 points in an 81-35 victory against Wharton and poured in 26 points in a big 67-60 win over Elsik. She also hit eight 3-pointers in a 92-51 loss to Hightower."

Here is what I have found

BF was asked at lunch Monday who he expected could contribute right away, and he said all 4 had the mentality they were ready to play on day 1:) But skills wise, he thought Nikki and Brynn might be the most ready to vie for PT. 'Baby Shaq' wasn't hinted at for red shirting this time; I wonder with Anna's continued knee/health issues, if she will want to play right away, even if PT is not assured. It is pretty much always the players call under BF.
No hints about a fifth signee, they are still looking if the right person shows up.
