I mean, it's a positive stereotype but there's pretty clear evidence statistically, black running backs are faster. Doesn't mean Christian McCaffrey is an alien but he's certainly an exception.

I'm fascinated by the human genome project, the goal of which was to map and sequence 'all of the genes of the human animal from both a physical and a functional standpoint' - paraphrasing wiki. So, all populations today we know derive from a couple of individuals in eastern Africa 200,000 years ago, the genesis of modern humankind. Our Mom and Dad. Over time the diaspora out of Africa saw populations move into colder climes, and physical human changes included:

> Straight hair (60 percent of body heat escapes through the top of the human head; Africans' curly hair acts as a radiator, allowing heat to escape).

> Narrower and longer noses, all that northern colder air needed to be filtered before it reached human lungs.

> Thinner lips. Lips, I believe, are sweat glands. If you need body cooling, would you rather be able to cool yourself in tropical regions or in colder climes?

We're the same animals, all 7 billion of us. Those of us more recently out of tropical regions might be faster and more nimble than those of us who for millennia trudged slowly about winter months in snow and ice.

Everyone's got a genetic advantage in some sport. Kenyan's dominate distance running. Jamaican's dominate sprints. Eastern Europeans and Icelanders dominate strength and power lifting. The Nordics dominate skiing sports. The Irish dominate drinking.

He's someone who had a really nice college career and one of the most exciting Iowa high school players in the state's history, but at the end of the day, there's a whole bunch of fanbases that have never heard of him.

Bucky fans don't even know who Gallery is and UW is a Lineman U.
