Never really watched UFC but this looks interesting.

sound be a great fight. The lower weight classes in UFC are nearly always good....even going back to WEC. Ronda Rousey gets all the publicity, but she is so dominant, her fights are rarely "good".
 
McGregor will win this in the first. He will then fight a couple times, bounce up, take that belt, defend it for awhile and bolt. He won't be around very long. He's stated he wants to get rich and get out.

A lot of people hate him but I just think he's one of, if not the best promoters that sport has ever seen. He practically prints money for Dana and the UFC.
 
Mcgregor is great for the UFC. I was pumped for this when it was supposed to happen the first time before Aldo backed out. They did a world tour and everything to only have Aldo back out.

Weidman V Rockhold will be good as well.

DesMoines boy Jeremy Stephens also on the card

Anyone watching tonight's fights?

UFC has got to hate the app periscope. It's what I'm watching them on right now
 
Dana White has got to be so ****** off right now. They just announced her yesterday for the cover of the video game.

If Mcgregor loses, UFC will be in trouble. They need Mcgregor on top and Jones to come back and beat Cormier.
 
The UFC has peaked. That said, Jones is going to Cormier again. I also think Aldo will beat McGregor.

I think Rousey losing will end up being a good thing for the UFC.

Well that should be expected when your average match is like 10 seconds.:smile:
 
Still can't believe this.

If you saw Holm's last fight you could not predict this. She was awful in her last fight and did absolutely nothing and then pulls this?

I didn't even think she deserved the title shot at the time.
 
Don't follow UFC and don't know protocol. Does Rhonda get a rematch? How is a number 1 contender decided upon?

She will get a rematch. I could see Dana White having Holm fight a match against someone that Rousey beat. Maybe Tate and then have Rousey vs the winner of that for a title shot.

Did Winklejohn & Jackson make the difference in this fight?
 
I'm not shocked Rousey got beat by a good striker. That was going to be the one that got her. It was clear Holm was going to try and stay away from her and make her strike. If I was surprised, I was surprised that Rousey was losing that fight before the KO.

Also, McGregor won't lose to Aldo. He's the face.

I think the Betche fight went to Rouseys head making her think she has really good standup when the truth is, she does not, just athletically gifted.
