Need to get this series win today. Wind is blowing out with Shota on the mound though....uh oh.

Have signed up for Marquee for the last 3 years during the season. Great reliability. You’ll get 95% of games and will only miss the national and Apple TV games. Can cancel whenever you want.

No app for Google TV anymore, which is a downside for me.
I could watch via PC (but had work to do), and it's pretty glitchy when Chromecasting.

Might have to look at the Hulu+ option.

I’ve been checked out with kids for several years but decided yesterday to get a month’s worth of Marquee yesterday. I’m really enjoying Boog & JD

Granted it's against the Rockies but he's had a monster of an opening series.

I hate playing bad teams early in the season because anything can happen as teams figure themselves out. Not too concerned.

Still would've much rather spent a couple extra million on Michael King over letting Shota come back - 1 turn through and not a great start!

Not a great showing from Shota to start the year, but with the wind blowing out, 4 runs in 5 IP still keeps you in the game. Only scoring 3 runs off of 3 solo HR's is a bigger frustration. Back half of the lineup (minus Amaya yesterday) starting with Nico was pretty non existent.

Cabrera looks like that more often than not this year and people will forget about Caissie pretty quick. Also, I enjoy this version of Ian Happ. He can stick around for awhile

Taillon and Boyd left in the series. Anyone not willing to settle for a split?
Due to the Angels playing a 4 game series to start the season our 5th starter faces their #1 who had a 6 inning shutout on opening day. So don't love that games pitching match-up for us.

I have a feeling Boyd will rebound and give us a competitive outing. Taillon hasn’t shown anything so until he does just hoping for a quick hook.

Rea with a three inning save. Sole fought off a good pitch for a bloop single then a bad mistake middle breaking ball. Other than that effective outing

Taillon tends to be a slow starter. He was actually our best pitcher at the end of the season and postseason. As long as his velocity is there, we should be okay. If his velocity is down, there might be some sort of injury and the Cubs are notorious for mis-managing injuries.
