    I searched for mileage distribution but averages was all I could find. I am curious if there are more Americans who drive <1k miles per year or >40k per year. Lots of folks in big cities who don't drive - walk, bike, public transport or rideshare is all they need.

    Yeah, I remember one of the initial "selling points" was lower maintenance and repair costs but any new tech is going to have some growing pains.     No specific recommendation, but living in an older house I'd say something with adjustable feet is a must. A garage floor should have a slight slope, but you dont want your storage to be tippy.
