    ISU Texas Personalized Plates

It was actually the Alumni Association who spearheaded the effort and designed the plates. The clubs were very helpful in getting the word out to reach the 200 plate minimum though.

    Cyclone IPhone 4 Case?

I recommend the Alumni Association's online store (ISU Alumni Association - PS400 iPhone Case). I know they also sell them at the Alumni Center prior to each home football game. They're pretty cool.

    ***Official Friday Confessions Thread***

I really like Cyclone Alley and wish that JUKEBOX would shut the #$&( up. Ah, I feel much better now. :spinny:

    Granite Countertops

We used Rowat in Des Moines for our kitchen and were very happy with the Granite and the service. I kind of got the feeling that they supply a lot of the other dealers in the area so you can cut out the middleman by going straight through them. www.rowatcutstoneandmarble.com

Does Iowa State get any money for hosting GOP Debate

They did briefly. It didn't work out and now SMG manages Hilton too.

Does Iowa State get any money for hosting GOP Debate

I didn't see the sarcasm pirate in your response, so let me set the record straight. ISU still owns all of these buildings - it would be silly to think otherwise. A company called SMG manages Hilton, Scheman, and Stephens. ISU receives a share of any money generated through facility rentals...

MLB: Nats, Yankees Interested in Silva

Keep in mind that the Cubs are only on the hook for $6mil of his salary this year. The Mariners are still picking up the rest. Realistically, they won't get anything in return via trade, but opening up a roster/rotation spot to get Cashner more experience could be invaluable in the long run.

    Do I Fire Our Nanny?

Actually, if you have two or more children in day care, a nanny can cost the same or be slightly less expensive.

    Coach Hoiberg: Call-In Show Comments

I remember that day well. I got married after the game in Ames. We were watching it at the back of the church while my mother in law was getting nervous.

New Alumni Assoc Credit Card - Old Logo

If your new credit cards come in with the old logo or with the Campanile instead of the new logo, contact customer service at Bank of America (800-421-2110) or contact the Alumni Association (877-478-2586 - ask for Scott). The new logo cards have been out for over a year and while there were...

    "Choose your adventure" ISU commercials

Keep in mind that the majority of you are not in the target market that ISU is intending (high school sophomores and juniors). Attendance at ISU is at record levels, so I would say that they are effective. If you don't get it, maybe you're not supposed to.

    OZARKS... Help

Designated driver. Don't mess around at party cove on Memorial Day weekend without one. There are probably about a half a dozen people that get killed on the lake each year - usually a few coming out of party cove. Still, it's definitely the best party in the midwest.

    Time To End Cyclone Alley!

Not bad, just kind of pointless when you have other options that may actually make a difference. I'm glad you're taking the time to pull something together.

    Time To End Cyclone Alley!

I agree that Cyclone Alley is not without its faults. However, as clever college students and alumni, what do you really think will get some actual results - whining on a message board or actually submitting something to the people that make the decisions??? The easiest answer is to whine...

    help with wildblue internet

We have had it for about 9 months and are very pleased. We went with the second fastest option and, while it's not quite as fast as dsl, it is still very good. Wild Blue is a very fast-growing company and I would recommend it over Hughes because of a lot of negative feedback I received from...
