    The latest reports show that temperature models are colder for Friday, so the large amount of moisture, the wind, and the cold temps are now pretty well known.     Biggest factor in this storm will be the temperatures. Temps sound like they are trending warmer than currently predicted which would mean more rain/freezing rain. Not good for travel, but less snow. Four days away, but by Wednesday morning, should have a better idea. If it does hit, likely...

    2020 Nonconference Schedule and Beyond

    I've had the 2021 game in Vegas and new Raiders stadium circled for awhile. That is an awesome road trip to a fun city in one of the best stadiums in the country. Would be fun to have a lot of ISU fans there.

    Winter Weather 2/16 - 2/17

    The weather for most of the 7 home football games was not good. A lot were very cold, very rainy, or both. Then basketball hasn't gotten much better. Going to need a storm thread for Tues/Wed and Friday/Saturday it appears.

    Omaha got ice and Western Iowa and Omaha were an ice rink by 3-4 p.m. Airport even shut down for awhile. No snow, but they likely had even more dangerous road conditions than us by the the late afternoon.

    That’s my point. I don’t know why people believe those Internet models. I never pay attention to them.But many seem to be disappointed when the snow actually turned out to be much less than those models because thry think they are actual forecasts.
