Actually Texas did win if you give them their 2 pt safety that was taken away.

FWIW, Texas played GREAT today, regardless of any of the tomfoolery.

They got a field goal with the short field after the punt following that. No guarantee they get it after a free kick if that was a safety. Still 20-18 instead of 20-19.
I don't believe he was ever technically down and was still throwing.
At first I thought he was but after they super slow mo'ed the replay I think they got it all correct.
Every year Texas blows their wad on one game and that is usually against Oklahoma. They blew their wad early this year so now it’s time to go back to being mediocre.
Hand can be down, but not wrist or forearm. It looked like the wrist/forearm was down before release.
Bama got a lucky in a crucial situations. Texas should have had this one. with A&M losing, it would have been nice to bring the SEC down a bit

It was also the textbook definition of intentional grounding, which means a safety. I mean, watch him - there’s no way he sees a receiver he’s trying to hit, he’s only throwing it to avoid the sack. That’s grounding.
