UPDATED WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Kantrail Horton

Kantrail Horton?

I’ll take two for next year, please.

What toughness those 1999-2001 teams had.

Thanks for doing these Rob. Horton is one of my favorite Cyclone players of all time.
Thanks! It's great to be able to catch up with as many of these guys as possible. Kantrail is such a great guy — and, yes, tough as nails as a player.

There were other guards through ISU over the years that had more ability, but Kantrail Horton and Mike Nurse were mentally tough in ways that add up to wins.

Thanks! That means a lot! He is indeed one the all-time great players and people I've come across.

Completely agree. Accepted their roles and filled them perfectly with toughness and skill. Kantrail was a really heady player, too. Uncommonly high hoops IQ.

Kantrail was probably the best 6'1" rebounder ever to wear Cardinal and Gold. Any loose ball in the lane was his.

It's great to hear that he's doing well. And what a beautifully written piece by Rob. Best part of CF.
