Kit car was cool too. What years were these two cars around?
It’s interesting how few people have on an ISU shirt compared to what that same photo would look like if taken nowadays.
The mascot car (on the left) would have been late 80s/early 90s.
The helmet car lasted through the logo change in the mid-90s (and was updated). There was a time after it was retired that it was "stored" on the tennis courts at the SW Athletic Complex.

Wow! That is one awful mascot. I don't remember it being that bad, but it may be slightly before my time.
I'm pretty sure there was a picture of him at the Welch Ave. McDonalds in the late 90's early 00's, so I was often reminded how terrible he looked.
FYI - He was technically Cy's son.
You might be right about the date range, but those ugly things carried on into the early 90s. I believe the Fab Five gets (or takes) credit for longer, baggier shorts, and that was in 1991.

I think those helmets were from the Walden years...so late 80's early 90's.
The player in the photo is Lester Ridley. He played from 1989-92.
