AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball team (9-5, 1-2, Big 12) returns to Hilton Coliseum to take on TCU (11-3, 2-1 Big 12) on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m. on Cyclones.tv. Iowa State and TCU are 8-8 all-time, as ISU holds a 5-3 edge in Hilton Coliseum.

As a reminder, Hilton Coliseum has instituted a Clear Bag Policy for athletic events. The policy will enhance security while improving efficiency at the entry gates.

Where: Hilton Coliseum - Ames, Iowa
When: Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m.
Projected Starting Lineup: Rae Johnson, Maggie Espenmiller-McGraw, Ashley Joens, Adriana Camber, Kristin Scott
Radio: Cyclone Radio Network/Learfield
Talent: Dave Sprau, Molly Parrott
TV: Cyclones.tv

Possibility Madison Wise might see some minutes for the first time in 10 games. Would expect them to be limited minutes if she does play.

RealtimeRPI predictor has us winning 75-67 if you are into that sor of stuff. NCAA RPI has TCU at #32 and ISU at #82, which is moving up from where we have been IIRC.

TCU has lost by 2 to ranked Teas A&M and beat Texas in Austin. I haven't seen them play and pretty much know nothing about them as a team. They had nobody on any of the pre-season teams. Tough two weeks coming for them @ISU @OU and than host Baylor followed by WVU.

I love the clear bag policy....just stick your genderless bag that you would normally be denied into another clear bag and-presto!- you are allowed entry.

If anyone’s watching online or on tv, what does the officiating look like? In person is abysmal.

Our fan base is going to be whining with Bill but almost all of the "too much" contact has come from bad passes that basically turned it into a scrum for the ball. It's like football when you just throw it into double coverage.

On the offensive end Joens is just manhandling the smaller Frogs.

54-48 and not very happy fans (in re refs)

I should have been counting at the start of the game for the number of times we pick up a dribble and end up double teamed. o_O

And I wish we would stop flopping. Refs ain't calling that on incidental contact. It's gotta be coached since Johnson and Joens aren't so weak they get knocked over when getting brushed by an opponent. You might get the call if you have the ball but flopping on loose balls just takes you out of the play.

I do enjoy having Dave Sprau doing the pxp.

Though let's be honest, he's no @brentblum ....

73-69 them. 27.6 sec they have the ball

Twice tonight the refs were going to have them shoot ft at 4 fouls. SMH
