What are your top ten TV shows of all time? Awesome if you can manage to rank them, which is more than I can do with any certainty (and these are of shows I have seen, obviously - not including things like "The Wire," which I haven't):

10. Twin Peaks
9. Stranger Things
8. 30 Rock/Parks & Rec
7. Freaks & Geeks
6. Game of Thrones
5. The State
4. Mr. Show
3. Downton Abbey
2. Arrested Development
1. Breaking Bad

Honorable Mentions - Fargo (I haven't seen all of the seasons), Larry Sanders Show (same), Seinfeld, The Office (UK version), Louie, My So-Called Life

1. Seinfeld
2. Rockford Files
3. Green Acres
4. Get Smart
5. Beverly Hillbillies
6. Leave It To Beaver
7. Everybody Loves Raymond
8. Honeymooners
9. Mike and Molly
10. Star Trek (TOS)

Honorable Mention:
a. Sopranos
b. The Fugitive
c. The Invaders

(5 thru 10 are probably not really ranked, more listed)

Right now I'm watching Dark Shadows. All 1,225 episodes. I'm about 3/4 through it. Good but also 'bad'. Of it's time and very soapy. Lots of screw-ups and bloopers. Was live to tape, shot daily, with almost never any edits (they didn't have the technology). Special effects are especially lame, LOL.

Edit: Oh Crap, forgot about Police Squad. Probably top 3

I'm kinda old school (old everything!), so some of these might not be recognizable to everyone. But here goes:

Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad
Hill Street Blues
L. A. Law
Seinfeld
Cheers
Frasier
60 Minutes
Everybody Loves Raymond

In case you can't tell, I'm a sitcom/drama series fan.

EDIT: Late addition - The Sopranos (and a tip of the cap to @srjclone for reminding me!)

Breaking Bad
The Wire
South Park
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Trailer Park Boys
Letterkenny
Seinfeld
Parks & Rec
Arrested Development (original run)
Curb Your Enthusiasm

I'd put Game of Thrones on the list, but I just didn't like the conclusion much at all.

I'm missing a few seasons of It's Always Sunny, South Park, and Letterkenny, or else I'd have them on there most likely. I have yet to watch all of Curb, only seen a few episodes of the first season.

Breaking Bad is by far my #1.... and #2 thru about #30 are all about the same level to me and none stand out above the other.

No particular order...many of these shows I'm including because the overall body of work outweighs disappointing conclusions or in some cases entire seasons (GoT, Dexter, etc.)

Parks & Rec
The Wire
Breaking Bad
GoT
Narcos
Prison Break - on here strictly for the first two seasons, after that it got pretty wonky
Family Guy
Dexter
Last Chance U
Seinfeld

I will be honest.....I never thought of watching GoT. The vixen got hooked on it, and kept trying to get me to watch it. Finally I gave in - and I didn't think much of it, at first. She told me to stay with it, and I was glad I did. Fantastic writing, acting, production values, everything. Episodic television at the highest level.

1) The Wire
2) The Sopranos
3) Game of Thrones
4) Atlanta
5) 30 Rock
6) Bob's Burgers
7) Rick & Morty
8) Breaking Bad
9) The Boys
10) Barry

Honorable Mentions:
Veep
Mr. Robot
Top Boy
The Terror
Watchmen
BoJack Horseman
Parks & Rec

If you allow yourself, that show does as good a job as any of getting the viewer invested in characters and their development. It was pushed in that direction because of the writing of GRRM, but it makes for great long form TV storytelling.

Dang, man! I looked at your list and forgot about The Sopranos. I liked that show so much I bought the entire boxed set.

No particular order, I'm thinking more of shows that have ended than are currently going probably from different decades too

Friday Night Lights - great binge watch if you never watched the series
Seinfeld
Dukes of Hazzard
The A Team
MASH - I didnt really get into this show until after 2000 while in my 20s and now I watch it all the time when I find it on.
Home Improvement
The Big Bang Theory
Parenthood

Recency bias is tough to overcome. I started bingeing Sopranos late, and once I did, I got through the whole series in like 4 months. Lots of 4am bedtimes those days. That show has got to be a top 5 all timer.
