50 car pile up on I-80 this morning

Their reporter kind of lost it while trying to report on it. Apparently they were right in the middle of it.

We passed that area about 15 minutes before the wreck. We hit a few spots west of I-35 on I-80 as we headed to WDM that were terribly slippery. There were a few spinouts that slowed down traffic, but we were able to get through safely.
Obviously everyone was going too fast, but I don't know, did maybe a news truck on the side of the road filming a "small" crash contribute to the start of the pile up. A slippery section of the interstate is no place to stop.
