What music are you listening to right now?

Just lovely. Like if Snail Mail made a Decemberists record. Or Cardigans? Chill, conversational, full of special moments. Favorite thing I’ve heard this year.
Been listening to a lot of garage rock from the mid-60s lately. The Sonics, The Seeds, The Remains, etc.
Yeah, this is AI. But I don't care. I owe it to my mostly feral farm cats to post it.
I listened some yesterday to XM Lithium (ch. 34) top 250 1990s alt/grunge countdown. I think it's being cycled throughout the weekend, I caught a couple when it was around #90, then in the evening it was somewhere 150s. So I don't know anything yet about what's in top 75 and I don't want a spoiler.
So far it's more "grungy" than "alt" for my tastes, but generally it's a good sampler. Sometimes fun juxtaposition having, like, AIC one or two slots away from Natalie Merchant, and Barenaked Ladies in proximity with STP.

I tend to listen to my staples from years/decades ago. But having listened to some new voices over the past few years, of the up-and-comers vocally, the best are Benson Boone, sombr, Raye, Olivia Dean, and CMAT (thanks to Brandi Carlile for raving about her non stop the past year). These all have killer voices and their albums are fantastic to boot.
