I know they are considering a stop light or roundabout at that intersection. That's the last I've seen of anything mentioning that intersection. There was something on the city council agenda a couple of weeks ago about it, but they've revamped their archive system and made it a lot harder to find previous meeting info.
Holy crap. On Mother's Day, the line was ridiculous when we went by there. Combined with entitled people that are bound and determined to turn left out of that drive across 3 lanes of traffic no matter how busy it is leads to significant backups. If it's anything like the 7 Brew in Ankeny, traffic will back-up onto S. Will be printing money at that location
You basically choose your base - "coffee", energy blend, lemonade or sparkling water and then you fully customize it with whatever flavor syrups you want (They probably have 30+ just taking a wild guess). They put an absurd amount of flavoring so everything defaults to being extremely oversweet. The coffee is really, really bad and not worth the time. Their energy drinks and flavored sparkling water are actually pretty good if you ask for it with 1/4 or 1/2 sweetness to bring things down to a reasonable level.7 Brew is opening a store soon in Cedar Falls near Kohl's.
I'd never heard of it, but man all the soccer mom types were falling over themselves excited -- but the drinks they were talking about didn't sound like coffee at all.
Get ready for a roundabout at that intersection as well.
I don’t know now but a company I worked for previously did underground on a bunch of Kwik Trips in MN/WI and you got 70 days from the date they told you that you were starting to when they expected customers to be walking through the door. The Quik Star on the corner of Grand and 16th is flying up, went by there a couple of weeks ago and they were doing earthwork, went by yesterday and the building is up, all the gas pumps are in and they are pouring concrete for the pumps and driveway.

They paid promptly and were typically fair but the timeline was absolutely non-negotiable. They didn't care if the plumbers and electricians were tripping over each other.

I don't go up that way often but a loopty loop would be perfect.I know they are considering a stop light or roundabout at that intersection. That's the last I've seen of anything mentioning that intersection.
Wife gets Hyper about once a week. It's just Rockstar with added flavoring. Their coffee also sucks.I went down first street at like 9:30 PM and there were multiple cars in the drive through. Boggles my mind. I don't think I've ever seen less than like 8 or 10 cars in line at the new Hyper either.
Personally I'm hoping for that as I drive that intersection everyday.I don't go up that way often but a loopty loop would be perfect.

Their days were numbered once Kwik Star came to town.Jeez what's the future of Maverik? They might be all closed by this time next year. Kwik Star takeover.
Have to hand it to their planning department. Some of the fastest/efficient construction around it seems.I don’t know now but a company I worked for previously did underground on a bunch of Kwik Trips in MN/WI and you got 70 days from the date they told you that you were starting to when they expected customers to be walking through the door.
