***Jack Trice Stadium/Hilton Coliseum alcohol sales thread***

Do they not open them immediately either? I haven’t been to a college game where they sell beer, but I’d imagine they don’t want those cans to become projectiles full of beer.

Are you expecting kegs or for them to pour the contents into a cup first?

They typically open them upon purchase.

Much easier and quicker for cashier to get them to the lines.

*Some* places have had issues with beers being thrown but it's been rare.

I expecting it like any pro sporting events I’ve been to where they crack the can and pour it into a cup.

I don't know if the stands between the 30s will be more full at the start of the 2nd half with this new policy, but I do know that the seats in the Sukup endzone will remain empty in perpetuity.

Club seating looks like that everywhere. It's part of the deal. Say 'Thank You' for the revenue and move on.

It's part of the deal but man, Camp Randall had such a good classic bowl look and feel and the renovation on the south side has only added to a decline in atmosphere in addition to the football program tanking.

Every camera shot of an empty part of our stadium is a bad look for the program. Everything these days is about perception and that perception is reality.

Why can 95% of the stadium find their seat but the rich folks can't?

I know some are claiming to protest and not watch other conferences (like that will impact the SEC's finances haha) but take a look some time and you'll notice ISU isn't unique to this.

Winning is pretty much the only thing that helps perception.

And before someone brings up Oregon's uniforms, they have been generally winning for 25 years, dominant for 15+.
