For burgers yes but as far as menu variety Culver's is far superior. The Cod sandwich is delicous.Culver’s and Freddy’s is close to the same thing
I don't really like McD's but in no way can I endorse 5 guys fries. Just bags of soggy sadness. Fresh is way less in this case. The D down big early to Five Guys and Taco Johns rightfully flushing Taco Bell down the terlet.
As is their walleye sandwich when it's on the menu. For burgers yes but as far as menu variety Culver's is far superior. The Cod sandwich is delicous.
The battle of the Tacos is basically which place is less likely to result in regretting eating there later when it makes it's way through your digestive system. LOLThe D down big early to Five Guys and Taco Johns rightfully flushing Taco Bell down the terlet.

Five Guys sucks too, but McD's has lost all appeal to meThe D down big early to Five Guys and Taco Johns rightfully flushing Taco Bell down the terlet.
Breakfast is about the only thing that brings me back to McD's. And every once in a blue moon, I crave a fillet-o-fish or QPC.Five Guys sucks too, but McD's has lost all appeal to me
My theory: Most people live closer to a McDonalds and their food is warmer by the time they get home.I don't really like McD's but in no way can I endorse 5 guys fries. Just bags of soggy sadness. Fresh is way less in this case.

You say that like it's a bad thing.Burgers were decent the few times I've tried it but for the money, I'm probably heading to a Mexican joint and getting real food. I agree on McDanalds though. Maybe it's the fact that I'm not pounding doubles and mcchickens at 2AM anymore.
I can't even remember the last time I ate McDonalds to be honest. The one closest to my house is so bad we basically gave up ever going there again. Service is terrible and food usually is as a result. Would usually have to wait anywhere from 10-20 minutes after pulling ahead in the drive thru and by then by the time you got your food it was already getting cold and lucky if everything on your order is in the bag too.If McDonalds still had some value to it, I'd give them the nod. I can't do that anymore because they've priced themselves out as being a budget option but still serve the same low budget food. I'll take a 5 guys burger over McDonalds 100 percent of the time.

Fish and shrimp are about the only things I like at Culver’s. Pot roast is ok but haven’t had that in a few years. Don’t like the burgers and not sure why. Pork tenderloin there is a travesty.Agree on both the cod and the walleye.

Was at 5 guys in Ankeny about a week ago and had a burger fries and a drink for $14. Yes its more than a BigMac meal but it’s definitely better and you get a ton of fries even with a small order.Well I'd hope 5 Guys is better, you can't get a burger, fries & a drink for less than $20. And they specifically use zero seasoning on their burgers, not even salt. Hard pass for me.
