At this rate, he won't finish the season with the Cubs. I could see them dumping him at the deadline for whatever they can get if, as it increasingly looks like, they are out of the race in mid-July. I predict he goes back to Japan for 27.

Nope, the brewers are going to run away and hide, both the Cubs and Cards are flawed teams. But at least St. Louis has 4 of the top 50 players in the minors.
