NFL: ***2026 NFL Season***

Super bowl is sofi again already?
Yep, been 5 years. Other than a city with a new stadium (that has enough hotel rooms) that will get it 1 time it's pretty much just a rotation of 4-5 cities anymore. Hell I think the Dolphins owner recently said that Miami doesn't meet the requirements anymore.

They are talking about a rotation of Miami, LA, and then a few random cities . KC will get one when they build their new stadium, here is the updated list of SB sites.

  • Super Bowl LXI (Feb. 14, 2027): SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California
  • Super Bowl LXII (Feb. 2028): Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia
  • Super Bowl LXIII (Feb. 2029): Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Super Bowl LXIV (Feb. 2030): Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee

Did KC get approval to build a new stadium for the Chiefs? If so, where is it going in? I'm not up with the times.

KC has been told by the league in the past that they would get to host a SB, but they had to have a domed stadium because of the weather. Once the new stadium is built in Kansas out by the speedway, the league will follow up on the promise that they made Lamar and schedule them one.

Didn't realize it had been 5 years since last one there.

Nashville, Vegas, LA and New Orleans are going to be the Core 4 then the new stadiums will get that 5th one. Kansas City, Cleveland and Jacksonville should be the next of those and then they can always slot in Indianapolis if they need to.

Yep Nashville going to be the new constant city in the rotation unless the first one they host is a disaster in terms of logistics.

I heard a Cleveland sports radio guy say even with their new Stadium they might not be able to host one due to the lack of having enough Hotel Rooms. We will see if that is truly the case.

Sheesh. That's a lot of dough for a guy who doesn't have a great track record of staying healthy and hasn't been all that impactful when he has been healthy. Puts him among the top 15-20 highest paid receivers in the league.
Agreed. This was an overreach.
