Regarding the AJ Green comp Blum threw out $50k - $75k as the NIL range Iowa State was thinking then. It's been widely reported that Milan will go for $5M - $7M in college next year. That's 100x in just four years. Insanity

As someone who now currently lives a state where the gambling apps are not legal yet, but draft kings and everyone have rolled out the prediction sections where we can make "trades" in those states which is just basically gambling, I can't wait to see the first NCAA case involving that.

Georges has $40M in career NBA earnings as a slower, shorter, lower volume, lower % 3-pt shooter.
Seems like Milan should be able to lockdown a liveable wage that exceeds collegiate offers but what do I know?

So, no announcement yet?

Just finished the pod. Maybe we need to start by putting some limits on player mobility, but I think the factor that put us on a slippery financial slope is escalating head coach salaries. If we had a salary cap a few decades ago, this may not have ever gone as nuts as it did.

We have to be reaching the limit soon, right? There's no way we can even be 2x the salary every 4 years let alone 100x it. The price discovery period on athlete's value has been wild.

Chris and @brentblum:

Regarding your discussion on ACC FB scheduling, the reason why every team cannot play 9 conference games is due to the fact that it is impossible to do so when there are 17 teams

Also, regarding Brent's comments that the CSC is "dead". I really don't think so given this On3 X post which reports that SEC FB HCs are fearful of a holdout by players who were promised NIL deals disguised as pay for play and likely won't get approved:
