Why would you have to pretend to like it? Judging by all of the complaints in the SB game thread every year, people are pretty comfortable sharing their dislike of whatever act is chosen, along with their wishes that some other band, with members all over the age of 60, should have been picked instead.
Curious what makes you think that you need to pretend.

She's infinitely more talented than people generally give her credit for. Her early stuff wasn't really a display of that talent but you see it when she does stuff like below. She's a rock star.

Personally, I think "concerts" during halftime shows are dumb. Halftime is best used for bathroom breaks, marching bands, and Dr. Pepper throwing contests.

Ones I’m at, the males watch the game and the females catch the halftime show.

The funny thing is people clamor for all these older artists that look like they could keel over on the stage,

And I like a lot of these older artists music but they have no business in a high energy fast moving halftime show.

And the entire point is to garner more attention from younger people, not the demographic that is quite frankly dying or going to start dying soon.

The NFL has gone to South America with their product so it's not rocket science as to why they went the route they did last year, just like they did with Shakira etc. in previous years.

I at least know who she is vs. Bad Bunny this year....however the halftime show isn't for people like me. I just want to watch football.
