Interesting…. all of the many, many times I’ve watched JoJo Rabbit, I’ve never come away from it being depressed. Definitely a VERY sad part in it, but overall did not find it depressing at all.I put Jo Jo Rabbit in the same category as movies like Sideways and Glory, technically brilliant and beautifully shot but so god damn depressing I never care to see them again.
The Spiderverse movies are the best Marvel movies and it's not even close. They're fantastic.watched the Spiderverse movie with my son and was shocked how much I enjoyed it. went in with 0 expectations.
I was ready to hate the animated TMNT movie a few years ago as well. I wouldn't say I loved it, but it was definitely watchable. would probably watch again.

Sam does no wrong. That movie is good.Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die
Had no idea what it was about going in, but enjoyed it and it was a fun ride throughout. Sam Rockwell was great in it
Speaking of Gosling, Fall Guy is fantastic.Project Hail Mary, I heard a lot of good things about it but I ended up adoring it. I like Ryan Gosling but that movie gave me an even deeper admiration for him. Just an overall feel good movie. I don't know if that makes it astonishing, but it will probably be my favorite movie of 2026.
