Agree, that's fukked up. I'm seeing a lot of sentences that seem very lenient. There was an assistant city clerk in some small Iowa town who stole something like $50k from the city over a few years, was found guilty, her sentence was I think 20 years SUSPENDED. So she got off with probation and as long as she served her probation she wouldn't do a single day in prison. For stealing $50,000. Fuk that.
In our county, a CEO stole $111,000 from 10 developmental disadvantaged individuals and the court said, no problem, just pay it back and we’ll pretend it never happened.
Meanwhile a dude who stole an ATM and an estimated $100k was sentenced to 15 years in Florida.

There's a male teacher in Clarion that was arrested last year for making coitus with female students. Apparently this had been going on for years before he finally got busted. Can't find a single article about it online for some reason.
