Yea, Ben's consistency has been a transformation. A lot is made of him adding another pitch from a repertoire standpoint. But adding a pitch has given him a ton of swagger.

His velocity and ability to pitch multiple innings gives Counsell a lot of flexibility out of the bullpen and should keep the other 7 bullpen arms fresher as the season progresses.

Now cross fingers that Hoerner's injury is a few games. But neck strains can be tricky.

Today was the first time I’d heard he’d added TWO pitches. Knew about the sinker but not the change.

Seeing what it’s done for Ben you can only imagine what it could for Steele.
