and is as good as all these ads I am seeing online? Do you just invest and AI takes care of the investments? What is the deal. Any sites you would suggest?

related: I've been bombarded lately with insider trading ads where your investments mimic politicians who are gaming the system. In theory not a bad idea, but I don't trust some random day trader bro taking my money.

Exactly. The ads I have been hit with are AI investing where the AI just decides what the best investment would be for you. Basically just try it with $20 and watch what happens.

It's all a big scheme to digitize wealth. Between BRICS and the dollar losing influence there's a race for new the monetary supremacy. That's what all this global instability comes from. Resources for the infrastructure and switching off the old guard of money. Don't trust it. Financial jubilee and everyone's racing to take things before the dust settles.

Suppose you need one of those fancy computerphones to do this too. What ever happened to sitting down with a guy at his office and having him call in your investments? You kids and your gadgets.

VOO + VXUS is pretty fool proof. Fun money I put too the stocks Motley Fool suggests in the subscription my dad pays for. Nvidia and SoundHound are the 2 from there that have killed it.

This works great until something happens for the first time/isn’t in the model. Literally a key piece of the 2007 subprime mortgage crisis was the “quant” trading absolutely melting down.

So do you just put your money in and the AI system basically predicts and choses the stocks for you? I might try it with a low amount of money and just see how it does. Maybe pluck in a 100 bucks and see what kind of returns I end up getting

Just pick one of the many brokerages that offer roboadvisor services if you need to feel like you're doing something. Otherwise, pick some cheap index fund(s) that covers the global equities markets and maybe a bond index fund and call it a day.

No. My Roth IRA is litterally 70% VOO 30% VXUS. My fun money is like $3k per year. 100% goes to what the Motley Fool report I mentioned. Got SoundHound at ~$3.50 and sold at ~$17, still holding Nvidia that I got at ~$25

Like, if it's making so much money, why wouldn't you just do that? Why even sell this product?

2 problems with this:

1.) most politicians don’t actually outperform the market

2.) there is a significant delay in the reporting of trades. I think it’s like 30 days. So it’s very possible to still miss the move due to the reporting delay

Funny

I listen to the NPR marketplace podcast every day, and it’s really gotten overwhelmed with ads for some service to invest in partial ownership of fine art. Sounds like schlock to me

I think that app is just a training tool. If you look at it, it sounds like it uses funny money, and only training tool.

Not sure if it actually invests itself. I looked it up and everything says it is for "training". Maybe there is a version that does actual training, or that is the next step, I didnt look to far into it, once it said it was just a training tool.
