Really more than 1 year of time is immaterial going forward. We will have rosters that are radically different every year going forward until the Wild West of nil has some regulation.

Pabst was committed to SDSU and followed Rogers to Wazzu. Was pretty bummed out when he decided that but happy to have him in Ames now

I wouldn’t bet the farm on that. We’ve yet to see how this shakes out…everyone wants to be a pioneer until they find out about the hardships.

Yeah, the stats aren't crazy on most of these young guys, but the coaching staff knows them and their potential, so I think these pick ups will really pay off down the road.

I was posting in another thread my Euro soccer team has exact coaching/power situation as ISU/PSU and they played head to head Sunday and not a single player has been traded since the “hot” coach was poached by the more traditional power…because they have multi year contracts like every other pro sport in existence. FWIW I’m a fan of the “haves” PSU team and the “have not” ISU team really kicked their ace.
