On Wednesday's Daily Clone presented by Fareway Meat & Grocery, Jake Brend addresses Fox analysts Joel Klatt's comments about wanting to get rid of the cinderella story. Brend rants why everyone deserves a seat at the table and why that's good for college athletics.

I want Kentucky 1 and done against George Mason or some other Mid-Major every single year!

Dunk City was a wild ride. Im not even sure I remember which university that was, but they were thunder dunking the everliving **** out of their 1st couple opponents, and it was beyond exciting. The UNI guy that hit the coldest blooded 3 point shot possible vs the jayhawks was another moment I won't forget.

The NCAA tourney is the best sports thing ever. I cringe at the thought of them reseeding in the future after the 1st couple rounds.

Pretty sure that was Florida Gulf Coast?

Jake's idea for CFP is nice solution, but the problem remains. No one with any power in the sport wants to fix it. I think even if it was up to Jamie, he wouldn't want it fixed as the current system still benefits ISU. Not as much as it benefits the Big 10 or SEC, but the broken system puts us above Wazzu or Oregon State.

IMO, I think the requirements to be FBS are too low and there are too many teams.

I tend to agree, which means that they're going to have to break it before they're going to be motivated to fix it, particularly with short sighted money driven leadership.

Truth! How do we get the system to be broke enough for the elitists program to want it. I wonder also, how will this new PE money will change college football. I've worked for companies all my life mainly funded by PE wanting growth/ROI. Will they push just the conferences or eventually push all college football to be more collective to create growth? It would be naive to think it won't change football-even if they claim it won't. Total gibberish I've heard from many PE companies over the years.

Unfortunately, probably about 10 years after they've successfully ostracized the bottom 90% of college football programs and find out that their ratings suck.

Do people take two days off work, or try to hide games on their work computers for the first round of the NBA playoffs? No. Because they absolutely suck compared to the opening round of the NCAA tournament. I'd argue it's bigger than the Super Bowl and the #1 sporting even in the country. And Klatt thinks it sucks. Wow. What a moron. I don't think he even believes what he's saying.
