Thx Rulzzz! BB season Game 1 !
Here we go! Being Top 5 in our conference would be a great thing, with a shot of upsetting any of the top 4-5 on any given night. That might be our ceiling. To do this, I'd like to see:
-Tamin have a great season, and for him to stay healthy.
-Milan to have a good to great season. Great would be better but he's off to a slow start so far. Every team will look to shut him down.
-Jefferson to be Jefferson +, better than last season would be huge. He is probably our most important player.
-Good developement of the freshmen guards Bateman and Toure, and if that happens they will both see plenty of court time.
-Heise to have a great year and to be consistent. Anywhere close to late last year would be a bonus.
-Servicable "5". I Hope we can count on Buchanon, Mulder and Pleta to contribute defensively and with rebounding. A bit of offense would be a bonus. I hope the 5 spot doesn't hurt us too much this year. The Big 12 can do some damage to any position group. Fingers crossed with the 5.
-Will Neslson be the consistent scorer and attacking guard, similar to Gilbert last year? Big plus if so.
My expectations have regressed this year vs. last season. Hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised.
