    13th IS open to Stange - from Stange she has many routes that can get her to Hwy 30 and she can do east to Hwy 69 south straight to Ankeny. Traffic is crazy but the route is open.

    Add On Construction Costs

    Need a couple key peices of info - Are you adding a full basement, foundation with crawlspace, or a slab on grade? Is it a single story addition or a 2 level addition These factors are probably the 2 biggest in estimating cost.

    I will defer to the wisdom of the board and go with the chili. I will begin slicing 3lbs. of top round and 2 lbs. of pork loin into cubes around 4 this afternoon - a 3.5 gallon pot of goodness will be simmering by 6!

    Washing Machine Advice ($600 or less)...

    About a year ago we bought a Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer from Lowes - both work very good. The washing machine was on a clearance sale for around $700 and the dryer was a unit that had been purchased and used for 1 week and returned - they gave it to us for $300 with full factory warranty...
