    Absolutely. At least I hope so. Fact of the matter is as much as it hurts now, he still gave us the best decade in program history, and stayed in the position way longer than most people would have expected. A lot probably depends on how well Rogers does. I imagine the better the team...

    It’s unconscionable for the committee to leap Miami over BYU. By doing that, you’re punishing a team that qualified for a conference championship and rewarding a team that failed to do so in a non-AQ league. I guess teams should shoot for a third place conference finish instead of second place...

    What I don’t understand is that everyone made a big deal in the summer about the committee emphasizing strength of record moving forward, yet according to ESPN, BYU eclipses both ND and Miami in that metric (as well as the more traditional Strength of Schedule).

    I could think of a worse life than being a millionaire and living in the Ozarks. And while it hasn’t all been put together yet, there’s tons of money in the area. I could see someone who knows how to fundraise and kiss babies having some success there.
