    I dont think it is a race thing. I just think Fran struggles in recruiting as a whole, if he really has to work at it. I know in a couple other sports their selling point to kids is basically, we are The Iowa Hawkeyes, if it is a kids dream to play there that is all they have to say.

    He is doing it the right way and does a good job recruiting Iowa fan boys and legacy players. That is what their fan base wants in a coach.

    They cover out of state regular season football games, for Iowa anyway. Am I petty about this yes, It just seems time and time again ISU gets the short end of media coverage in this state. There always plenty for excuses for why Iowa gets more coverage.

    Fran has problem recruiting player's period. His team is made up mostly of Iowa fan boys and legacy players.

    Their numbers this weekend were very similar. Both had a chance to in the 4th QTR to win the game. Only one of them made the passes to win the game.
