    I feel the best short-term answer is Bill making staff changes. Him set back and be the CEO and let someone else come in and run their offense at the least. He has 2 maybe 3 top tier players in this team. He has had 2 other top tier players the last 8 years and very little to show for it.

    The staff would have to watch girls from the state of Iowa play and may have to learn who the best players in the state are.

    It looks like University Policy is to spend 5.5% of the regular university endowment a year.

    It's not about the fans donating. It's about one fan or a few fans donating a lot. For some reason ISU doesn't have that many high dollar donors willing to give to athletics. It also lacks in corporate donors. To top it off the University takes their cut and the state leaders on both sides...

    If Billy really wants the job he needs to go and coach for someone else for a few years. Maybe get a head coaching job also. He needs 5 years (give or take) away from his dad. The lack of recent outside experience should disqualify him from getting the job. Just like Mouser with football.

    Sounds like the Big 12 doesn't like it. It's a shame a name and rivalry not forced upon us is not like by the powers that be. Maybe if we can get John Deere or CNH to sponsor it they will like it.

    Iowa has a lot of people and publications covering them. Most are fan boys pretending to me media. They tend to stand behind the teams and programs no matter what. Wont call them out on anything. Lots of propping Iowa teams up as well as the teams they play.
