Golesch - South Florida

USF had no business being the underdog in this game. Boise is insanely overrated
Won some money on SGP with UCF moneyline and under 61.5 in that game. The total especially seemed wild to me.

On a side note, watching Veidt with Cincys defense was painfully familiar. Giving dime store mahomes all day to throw, constantly facing 2nd and 3 or 2nd and 2. Loose coverage and easy quick completions to the edge. And after all that, you look up and you’ve only given up 20 for the game. It’s maddeningly frustrating.

Loved that "Cincy" helmet, but damn- that was too much red on the field. They would've looked so much cooler in their all-blacks.

would have given up even less if that receiver didn't fumble toward's the end of the first half. The defense also missed a fumble recovery and dropped a pick six.

It was honestly amazing that Cincy was even in it when their QB only threw for about 50 yards. He could run, but their passing game was sh**. His deep throws were way underthrown and they couldn't execute their shorter routes. I don't think Satterfield will make it past this season.

Their run game, especially their qbs run game scares me. It seems as though that’s one area where heacock defenses struggle is to contain good running qbs.

There was one Nebraska drive where they fumbled 2 or 3 times and the ball bounced out of bounds. A lot of unlucky bounces for Cincy

I loved the backup (3rd string?) QB going in on punt formation to throw the TD. Reminded me of when CPR sent Sam Richardson on his last game vs WVU. It seems less obvious when the jersey numbers are the same like SR and Holden Kramer.

Cincinnati played well on defense (4.5 yards/play), they ran the ball well, and were good on special teams. If turnovers would have been equal they probably would have won the game, and they arguably should have been if the ball didn't bounce Nebraska's way a few times. But Sorsby throwing the ball was rough and his receivers didn't help him out much either.

Oh, he's 100% getting fired. I have no idea how Sorsby is going to make it through the season with that passing game. And their RBs weren't great either. Same for Corleone...we think we put a lot of pressure on Dom Orange to produce, he's shouldering an even heavier load. I wish we had a spot for Veidt to come back after this season, but someone else is going to snap him up as a DC. That is, unless Heacock retires.

I thought the passing game / receivers were out of sync for Cincy, i think they are all transfers, might improve as the season progresses.

The defense just didn't capture those loose balls.
