Not a big deal, the TV announcers are not favoring one team or other. This is great for ISU, need to win the game, but this is a 3.5 hours infomercial for ISU and the B12.
EIU fans in the state have to be jealous as hell, ISU get on this free pub on national TV.

It was a great game, great time in Ireland and a great victory. The Irish people were fantastic and extremely friendly. Even the KState fans were fine to hang around.
One thing I haven't seen brought up. How many had Aer Lingus flights? The only negative of the trip on my end was the leg from Philly to Dublin operated by them. Flight was on time, attendants were great but the seats were atrocious. I'm a small dude who doesn't get up on flights, had the row of 3 seats to myself and couldn't get remotely comfortable. Seats just had no padding. My flight had no cardinal and the only purple was 2 couples in there 50s right behind me. Right when we landed one of the guys quietly said something about it and I just said we can agree on 1 thing this week.
Yep, leg room was comparable to my AA flights and international Delta flights in the past. Just the damn seats.

Last insult from On Location...
Back story...we booked the land only package and booked our own flights. We inquired at the time if we could pay for ground transport to Dublin...nope, no dice. So we took a taxi to the Kerry Airport yesterday, and rented a car for the drive up to Dublin today. The rest of the 42 people left Killarny in clumps, starting at 3am and leaving every hour or so. I think the last (and biggest) group left around 7am. We slept in...until 9am when a guy from housekeeping ignored the Do Not Disturb sign on our door, unlocked the door and walked in on us. I had just finished dressing, but Lew was still sound asleep. WAS still asleep...he was pretty much done sleeping when I told the guy to get the hell out.
Seems our OL hostess told the desk that all of her people had left. Guess we weren't her people.
Side note: if we ever stay in a room again with no deadbolt or door chain, I'm going to prop a chair up under the door knob. Two minutes earlier and that poor kid from housekeeping could have been scarred for life, seeing a nekkid granny...

I’ve started taking an Addalock when I stay away from home. Works in majority of door latches and is a little extra security as a solo traveler. Only time it hasn’t worked is in an old building that had fancy trim on the door of an Airbnb studio apartment.
I'll check that out when I get home. If it's small I'll add it to my go-bag. Thanks!
Slightly longer than a deck of cards, fits in any backpack or luggage pocket. Can also be used as a bottle opener in a pinch.

At the Dublin airport. Ran into a few Cyclones, like me, getting out of town. Will be at the game tomorrow.
There were a lot of us there yesterday. There was a group whose flight yesterday was cancelled due to mechanical reasons, so they were put up in a hotel overnight and flown out today.
Plenty of Cyclones yesterday, then a good number of Wildcats on our flight to Denver.
Back home now, a little jet lagged, but finally unwinding.
I was a little on the fence when this was first announced, but pulled the trigger when some friends got tickets. Glad I did it; was a bucket list experience.
