Availability Report Week 0

Availability report came out, looks like Townsend and Sowell are good to go. Lots of guys are out but would assume they are redshirting/didn’t travel. Buhr and Peppers are surprises.

Out:
T. Buhr
R. Peppers

Questionable:
D. Jackson
A. Carnell
B. Goodwin
I have absolutely 0 reason to think otherwise, but just want to caution you. This won’t be the only injury report before the game. They’ll come out daily until game day I believe and then 90 minutes before kick so there could be changes

After a bit of thought, I find it more than a little suspicious that both teams have exactly sixteen players on their list.

I wonder how this really works. If a guy is listed out today, what happens if he plays? Like, can they move someone up from out to questionable between now and the game? What kind of penalties are there for gaming the system?

One thing I do like…this sure beats pregame reporting on twitter saying this player is in street clothes not warming up. Seems like every Game 1 we had a half dozen guys in street clothes that we had no idea were hurt.

Yes, things could change but I don’t think Campbell would mess with the injury report now that it’s official. Especially, the first week and they’re the stand alone B12 conference game.

If he had a chance to play, he wouldn’t be listed as out, there are other designations for that. Out means out. 50k for first misreporting, 100k for second, 200k for third from what I saw.

Edit: The fines might be only for the ACC. I can’t find anything from the Big 12

This is terrible news. I wonder how long Buhr will be out…. have to imagine it will be a while if he’s listed as out and not questionable. Uggghh.
