Our defense will be really good this year. The offense will be set up with short field opportunities because their qb will make costly mistakes.

Thank god you’re here! This thread was getting WAY too optimisticI did a rewatch of last year's game. Every "lucky" play went to ISU. 2 fumble recoveries. 1 blocked field goal. 1 safety. I noticed that Becht was 13-35 passing with 4-5 dropped picks by KSU. Some commentator said he wasn't sold on Becht to win this. KSU will stack the box, stuff the run, and blitz the QB. Passing game needs to be much better to win this. We won't have any good punt returns or blocks of kicks this game. IMO the key to the game is Becht seeing an open lane and using his legs. He can't roll out right, wait, and then throw the ball out of bounds to end the play. Bowman did this at OSU last year and they lost every conference game. WTBS I also rewatched the CCG against ASU and our backup QB was way off on accuracy - missing 2 open TD throws by about 10 yards each. So if Rocco gets hurt, it could be a big problem for the rest of the season.
Thank you for this insight. Knowing this, I hope the team flies back home because we have zero way of winning this football game.I did a rewatch of last year's game. Honestly, should just sell the team and invest all our FB budget into basketballThank you for this insight. Knowing this, I hope the team flies back home because we have zero way of winning this football game.
I was at that game. I usually don't mind the cold but that game was miserably cold. Imagine how hard the.ball was without even trying to comprehend throwing it or catching it.I did a rewatch of last year's game. Please don’t state facts yet. The sky is still falling and the season hasn’t startedI was at that game. I usually don't mind the cold but that game was miserably cold. Imagine how hard the.ball was without even trying to comprehend throwing it or catching it.
I apologize for that remark. Please don’t state facts yet. The sky is still falling and the season hasn’t started
I’m not too concerned about that. Our defense is hurt more by physical backs that can move the chains than backs like Edwards.I'm way more concerned with Edwards than Giddens. Giddens was a little slow footed and never hurt us much. That said, we also shut down the ultra shifty Vaughn, which makes me think it was a scheme advantage. But Edwards is dynamic. If KSU's new OC changes things, a shifty back that can make a quick cut against the grain worries me more than a north-south guy like Giddens.
That wasn’t cold. That was fun.I was at that game. I usually don't mind the cold but that game was miserably cold. Imagine how hard the.ball was without even trying to comprehend throwing it or catching it.
It was definitely both. That wasn’t cold. That was fun.

That’s not really true anymore with the way rules have handcuffed defenses. At least in the NFLFunny, made me think of a Woody Hayes quote.
"Three Things Can Happen When You Pass and Two of Them Are Bad"
